Starting off this blog with one of my go-to restaurants that my friends and I love only seems fitting. Located in North Park, Dunedin was a place I saw advertised on Tiktok for their cheap mimosas, but what kept us coming back was their menu and atmosphere.
Their menu is full of variety ranging from avocado toast to shrimp and grits, but what I would argue is their real standouts are the burgers. My first time I ate there I got their fish and chips. The fish itself was good. But the real star was their fries and sauces that came with. More recently I tried their Wagyu Smash Burger which I can’t get enough of. Ive even called it “an In-N-Out burger on steroids” to my friends. The 1000 island dressing really the key in the comparison.
The atmosphere is light and inviting. Plants and greenery surround the establishment giving it a private feeling away from the San Diego hustle and bustle. It wasn’t quite tiki or coastal more like a tropical garden. With most if not all their seating outdoors, conversations flow around you and the hanging leafy plants setting the tone for a laid-back night.
